Assessment

Arid distinguishes editorial errors, changed circumstances, material factual corrections, and unresolved disputes. During validation, this policy applies principally to Arid’s public descriptions of its own posture, process, and boundaries.

Material corrections

  1. Identify what changed and why.
  2. Separate a correction from a later change in circumstances.
  3. Preserve a reviewable record where appropriate.
  4. Update connected public pages when the correction affects their meaning.

No silent material edits

Typographical or formatting changes may be made without a version note when meaning does not change. Material changes to Arid’s public posture or boundaries should be stated plainly.
